Live baccarat: the Filipino favourite

Baccarat is the most played live game in Asia, and for good reason. The rules are simple and decisions are quick. You bet on Player, Banker or Tie, and the hand closest to 9 wins.

Bet	Typical payout	House edge (approx.)
Banker	0.95 : 1 (5% commission)	1.06%
Player	1 : 1	1.24%
Tie	8 : 1	~14.4%

The tie bet looks tempting, but its house edge is more than ten times higher. Treat roadmaps (Big Road, Bead Plate) as history only. They do not predict the next hand.

Live roulette

In roulette, a ball spins on a numbered wheel and you bet on where it lands. Choose European roulette (single zero, about a 2.7% house edge) over American (double zero, about 5.26%) whenever you can. Even-money bets such as red/black and odd/even give the steadiest sessions. Straight-up numbers pay 35:1 but hit rarely.

Sic bo and dragon tiger

Sic bo is a three-dice game with roots in China. Big/Small bets are the simplest and have one of the lowest edges on the table. Specific triples pay a lot but are long shots. Dragon tiger is the fastest card game around. One card goes to Dragon, one to Tiger, and the higher card wins. Rounds last seconds, so set a time limit before you sit down.

Who streams the games?

Live tables are usually supplied by specialist studios. Industry leaders such as Evolution broadcast from regulated studios with audited equipment. Before playing, check the platform's licensing details. Our PH888OFFICIAL legitimacy checklist shows you how.

Live casino etiquette and tips

Use a stable Wi-Fi connection. A dropped stream mid-hand is frustrating, though bets placed before the cutoff still count.
Keep chat friendly. Dealers are professionals, and offensive messages can get you muted.
Decide your bet size before the timer starts. Fast tables reward planning, not impulse.
Never chase losses by doubling up (Martingale). Table limits and your bankroll will stop you first.

Note on e-sabong: online cockfighting (e-sabong) has been suspended nationwide in the Philippines since 2022. Be wary of any site offering it.
